In graphics the main expressive means are contour line, stroke, spot, and contrast. The color plays an auxiliary role. Graphics include such areas as drawing, engraving, lithography, print, calligraphy, font art, poster art, images for textiles. In our courses we will work with drawing, textile design and book illustration.
Graphics use the same genres as painting art. So we will work with still life, landscape, portrait, as well as with genre scenes and animalistic genre.
In the course there will be used pencil, ink, watercolor, gouache and paints on fabric as well.
The number of classes per week is two, each one of about two hours depending on the age of the students.
Students from full 7 years old are adopted. The upper age limit is not defined.
The program advances from simple tasks to complex ones. Each class includes:
1.The explanation of material;
2.The demonstration of key points and techniques;
3.Practical exercises.
In the process of work the teacher approaches each student, directs him and points out the mistakes.
The program is designed for three months. It is possible to take an accelerated one month course.
